NuQuest/Bridge Pointe is an industry leader and national provider of Medicare Set-Aside and Professional Administration services to Workers Compensation insurance carriers, third party administrators, self-insured employers and attorneys.

Our continued growth and national expansion has resulted in the need for qualified Medical Cost Projection Specialists.  Medical Cost Projection Specialists perform file reviews, future medical cost projections and Medicare Set-Aside Allocation reports and interact regularly with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, treating physicians, claims adjusters, attorneys and brokers. 

Ideal candidates must be a Registered Nurse with 3-5 years workers' compensation case management experience and 5 years clinical nursing experience.  Additional credentials such as CCM. CDMS, CRRN, CLNC, CLCP and/or MSCC are preferred.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform file reviews
• Analysis of treatment patterns to identify and compile future medical costs
• Submit records to annuity companies to obtain rated ages
• Research Medicare coverage issues
• Communicate regularly with attorneys, adjusters, brokers, and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services
• Thorough and accurate file documentation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Knowledge of workers' compensation statute
• Knowledge of medical standards of care
• Knowledge of conditions of illness, injury and usual treatment protocols
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
• Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
