Full Story CMS Releases Section 111 Quick Reference Guide Apr 1, 2010 CMS released a revised "Quick Reference Guide for Section 111 Registration for RREs” document dated March 29, 2010. This document provides a reference to Responsible Reporting Entities (RREs) with respect to a host of RRE related issues including, but not limited to, obtaining a RRE ID, registering for multiple RRE IDs, RRE registration and EDI assignment, separate input files regarding subsidiaries and separate lines of businesses, agents reporting for multiple RRE IDs, RREs with nothing to report, and miscellaneous issues regarding the registration process. This revised timeline outlines CMS' new Section 111 reporting timeframes with respect to various aspects of teh agency's Mandatory Insurer Report (MIR) directives.
